Lucas Labrador and Louis DeFelice are ballet dancers who have trained, competed, and performed around the world. They are the co-founders of Barre Trash.

During their travels, they found that on days when they weren’t with the company, or taking class on stage, it was difficult to find a studio open to visiting dancers. Google would show closed studios, or private conservatories, or companies not open for adults to take class. Phones wouldn’t be answered, and language barriers had to be navigated. And it was hard to know whether a studio had barres, mirrors, or marley.

From this frustration, they decided to create a one-stop resource for any ballet dancer at or away from home.
